Acceptance

By using Plot a Trip, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The Service

Plot a Trip is a web-based trip planning tool. We provide visual map planning, itinerary building, budget tracking, and collaboration features. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service
One person per account — don't share accounts

Your Content

You own the trip data, comments, and other content you create. You grant us a license to store, display, and transmit your content as needed to provide the service (including sharing with collaborators you invite).

Acceptable Use

Don't use Plot a Trip to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Distribute malware or spam
Attempt to access other users' data without authorization
Reverse-engineer or scrape the service

Subscriptions & Billing

Explorer (Free)

Navigator Pro

  • $4.99/month or $29.99/year
  • 14-day free trial, no card needed
  • Cancel anytime

Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. When you cancel, access continues until the end of your billing period.

Service Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee 100% uptime. We're not liable for data loss, though we take reasonable measures to back up and protect your data.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, we'll delete your data within 30 days.

Limitation of Liability

Plot a Trip is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. We'll notify you of significant changes via email.
